Global Survey: Technology Needs of Small and Medium Journal Publishers

Are you part of a small or medium journal publisher working to keep up with the needs of the rapidly changing research landscape? We want to hear from you!

Scholastica and Maverick have launched the "Technology Needs of Small and Medium Journal Publishers" survey to gather insights into the digital tools and workflow optimizations that would best serve the smaller publishing community for its members and the service providers who support them. The survey questions span:

  • Platform and workflow management
  • Research integrity and the rise of AI
  • Vendor collaboration and support

The survey takes only 10–15 minutes to complete, and the results will be compiled into an openly available report (no download form required). Please note: for the purposes of this survey, a "small-to-medium-sized publisher" is defined as a publishing organization with under 1,000 employees.

Privacy Policy: The information you submit to the survey will be published in an aggregated, anonymized form. Contact information is optional and will not be shared with outside parties or used for purposes other than those stated in the survey (to receive a copy of the report).
